Gisela Schütte, Dr. (PhD); studies of archeology, history of art, philosophy, afterwards research activities; today she works as a journalist; her main topics are architecture, fine arts, medicine and health care industry. In addition to working for the German daily newspaper “Die WELT“ she writes and publishes books.

Wolfgang Lorch, Prof. Dipl.-Ing. (university professor and graduate engineer), architect BDA, born in Nürtingen on the river Neckar / Germany. Studies of architecture at the University of Technology Darmstadt / Germany and Barcelona ETSA / Spain, scholarship of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). Since 1993 architect at ”Werkgemeinschaft Wandel Hoefer Lorch + Hirsch“. In 1998 lectureship for building construction and design at the University of Kaiserslautern / Germany. From 1999 to 2005 regional chairman of BDA Saarland. From 2001 to 2003 holding a chair for design and building construction at the State School of Construction Stuttgart / Germany. Since 2003 tenured professorship for design and building construction at the University of Technology Darmstadt / Germany. Jörn Walter, Prof. Dipl.-Ing. (university professor and graduate engineer) urban planner, born in 1957 in Bremen / Germany. Studies of spatial planning at the University of Dortmund / Germany. 1982–1984 traineeship urban design in Düsseldorf / Germany. 1985–1991 head of the Office for Urban Development and Environment of the city of Maintal / Germany. 1991–1999 head of the Office for Urban Planning Dresden / Germany. Since 1999 Chief Planning Director of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg / Germany. 1997 appointment as visiting professor of urban design at the University of Technology Vienna / Austria. 1998 appointment as lecturer of urban design at the University of Technology Dresden / Germany. Since 2001 appointment as professor at the University of Fine Arts Hamburg / Germany. Member of the German Academy for Urban Development and Country Planning, member of the Academy of Arts Berlin / Germany and member of the Saxon Academy of Arts. Awards (assortment): ULI Germany Leadership Award; Art Award of the city of Berlin (Grant for Architecture); BDA Hamburg Prize for Building Culture.

Elke Delugan-Meissl, DI architect (architect and graduate engineer), born in Linz / Austria. Studies of architecture at the University of Innsbruck / Austria, diploma with professor O. Barth. Has worked for different architect's offices in Innsbruck / Austria and Vienna / Austria, among others with Prof. W. Holzbauer. In 1993 she founded the Delugan_ Meissl ZT GmbH together with Roman Delugan in Vienna / Austria and realised various housing construction projects with main focus on social housing. In 2004 Delugan Meissl Associated Architects DMAA was founded. From 2003 to 2008 member of the Grundstücksbeirat Wien (Advisory Council for Real Estate Vienna / Austria). In 2006 appointment as visiting professor at the University of Stuttgart / Germany. From 2006 to 2010 chair of the Gestaltungsbeirat Salzburg (Advisory Council for Design Salzburg / Austria). From 2009 to 2011 chair of the Architekturbeirat Bundesimmobiliengesellschaft BIG Wien (Advisory Council for Architecture of the Federal Real Estate Association Vienna / Austria). From 2010 to 2011 appointment as visiting professor at the University for Applied Arts, Vienna / Austria. Volker Staab (jury chair), Prof. Dipl.-Arch. (university professor and graduate architect) ETH / BDA, born in 1957 in Heidelberg / Germany. Studies of architecture at the ETH Zurich / Switzerland (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology). Since 1991 freelance architect. Since 1996 joint office and project-related cooperation with Alfred Nieuwenhuizen. From 2002 to 2004 appointment as visiting professor at the University of Technology of Berlin / Germany. From 2005 to 2007 appointment as visiting professor at the University of Applied Sciences Münster / Germany. In 2005 appointed as member of the Academy of the Arts Berlin / Germany. Since 2007 business partnership with Alfred Nieuwenhuizen (GmbH / Ltd). In 2008 decorated with the ”Bundesverdienstkreuz am Bande“ (Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany ). From 2008 to 2009 appointment as visiting professor at the Academy of the Fine Arts Stuttgart / Germany. Since 2012 appointment as professor at the University of Technology of Brunswick / Germany.
